Networking

The Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association will be sponsoring a Networking Breakfast on Tuesday, November 15, from 7:30-8:30 am, hosted by Trustco Bank’s Milton branch office, 2 Trieble Avenue, in Ballston Spa.

Trustco Bank was founded in 1902 in Schenectady and provides personal and commercial banking services throughout the Capital Region. Milton branch manager Kelly Ostrander and her staff welcome the opportunity to speak with breakfast attendees. Aruna Pennie, IRA Specialist, will discuss health savings account products, Paul Matthews, Regional Sales Administrator,  will discuss business accounts and John Bresonis, Investment Officer, will discuss financial services products

Breakfast Networking Mixers – The breakfasts are held the third Tuesday of each month from 7:30 to 8:30 and consist of anything from muffins, bagels, fruit, coffee, water, etc.  It is a great opportunity to showcase your business and to bring other members of the community in who may otherwise not be aware of your business.  The BSBPA and the host benefits financially splitting the entry fee for each person that attends the mixer to help offset the cost.

Evening Networking Mixers with Local Chambers – The BSBPA holds a joint evening mixer twice each year, one with the Saratoga County Chamber and one with the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County.  These are jointly hosted by both members of the BSBPA and a chamber member, as well. The purpose is to bring in other members from surrounding areas into Ballston Spa community who may not otherwise be aware of the business.  The BSBPA and the host benefits financially splitting the entry fee for each person that attends the mixer to help offset the cost.

Annual Meeting & Community Mixer – The Annual Meeting & Mixer is held the third Monday in March in place of the regular board meeting.  This is an opportunity for members and non-members to socialize, review BSBPA accomplishments and look forward to the upcoming year.

Holiday Mixer – The Holiday Mixer celebrates all the great business owners, volunteers and community members that help make Ballston Spa a wonderful place to live and work.  The event is typically held in December.
